The use of this product exposed to open
wellbore conditions is not recommended. |
This product employs "shrinkage resistant" construction
materials with a higher nominal velocity of detonation (+13%
nom.v.o.d.) than the standard HMX cord. A flexible
nylon jacket facilitates easier installation in the
newer combination (wireline/or TCP) high shot density systems
that employ charge alignment deviations.
Recommended service application within the normal HMX opertating
range (see graph). Temperature resistance
is based upon manufacturer's laboratory tests in air, at ambiant
pressure only. Shrinkage is defined as
the decrease in overall length of the primacord. Velocity
for time/temp. were tested unconfined at ambient pressure,
and immediately after being removed from oven.. |
